Plan — before you go

Staying 4+ weeks? This site is built for short trips (up to ~1 week). The same price bands still apply — but long stays need separate planning for housing and visas.

3-day itinerary template

  1. Day 1 — Arrive & orient. Airport → hotel (arrival chooser), Gyeongbokgung + Insadong, early dinner, rest. Don't pack Day 1 — jet lag wins.
  2. Day 2 — Myeongdong & the city. Morning palace or N Seoul Tower, afternoon Myeongdong (use the price-traps guide), evening Han River or Hongdae.
  3. Day 3 — Pick one big thing. DMZ tour, Lotte World, or a cooking class — then tax-refund shopping before you fly (refund guide).

5-day itinerary template

  1. Days 1–2: as the 3-day template, slower.
  2. Day 3: full-day trip or deep-dive (DMZ, Suwon, or Jeonju by KTX — check the Korail Pass break-even rule first).
  3. Day 4: shopping & beauty day (Olive Young baseline, tax refund) + evening food tour.
  4. Day 5: slow morning, last shopping, airport with buffer (2.5–3 hours before departure).
