A shared pickup only saves money if the per-person price beats your share of a taxi — for 4 people, a taxi split is ₩16,250–₩18,750 each, cheaper than ₩25,000. Verdict: Don't buy shared pickup for 4 — split a taxi instead. Shared pickup makes sense for solo and 2-person trips. Every SeoulSaver deal is checked against what locals actually pay. Before you buy, compare the checkout price with the fair band on this page. If it's outside the band, that's your signal to walk away.

Why the big platforms can't do this: they list millions of prices from thousands of sellers, so no single "fair price" exists. We publish only deals we've price-checked ourselves against our fair price bands — reviewed monthly. That's our skin in the game: honest numbers, not guarantees.
