Incheon T2: Limousine Buses Went Ticket-Only in March 2026
Since March 5, 2026, limousine buses departing Incheon Terminal 2 require pre-purchased tickets — you can no longer tap your card on board. Travelers following old guides are getting turned away at the stop.
The price-checked numbers
| Class | Price | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Limousine standard | ₩17,000 | 60–90 min to Seoul |
| Limousine premium | ₩18,000 | |
| Child | ₩12,000 |
Key routes: 6015 (Myeongdong), 6001 (Dongdaemun), 6009 (Gangnam). At T1, only routes 6001/6002/6015 still accept walk-on boarding.
Rules as of Oct 2026 — bus rules change; recheck close to your travel date.
How to buy the ticket (T2)
- At the airport: ticket machines on the 1F arrivals level, next to the bus stops — English menu available, card payment accepted.
- Online: book through the airport limousine booking apps before you land (see our useful apps guide).
- Timing: buy as soon as you clear customs — buses run every 10–20 minutes on key routes, and seats sell out in peak evening hours.
Why it matters
This isn't a price shock — it's a rule shock. The cost of not knowing is a missed bus, a confused queue, and a ₩65,000+ taxi you didn't plan for. Price Shock Korea covers rule changes too, because the most expensive surprise is the one nobody told you about.
Turn this shock into savings
Ticket-only at T2 — so buy before you board, or compare the other airport options for your group size.
